Elbi is the place, yes it is. I’ve been wanting to write about it ever since.
It has once inspired to write, it was a rainy afternoon. Instead of being spoiled by the rain, I was actually happy to hear it, breathe it and see it.
I thought the rain drops on my umbrella sounded randomly fascinating, but it has its own beat. Random beat. >ironic<
I thought, the rain that time cleansed my soul, my conscience, my body, my mind and my spirit. Oh well, maybe I was exaggerating but believe me, I really felt that way. I even felt my eyes were being cleansed too.
That was after a day of exhausting examinations and papers due to be passed or projects to cram. That is why I love Elbi, I love it because after the grueling days and times you’d spend on your chair, thinking studying about gravity, evolution, parasites, botany, anatomy, etc. When you get outside the god-forsaken room/ building and you’d feel the breeze hit your cheek and the refreshing scent of the freshly cut grass through your nose, you would think, “Ahh, I’d be okay, there is nothing to worry about, I’m in the bossom of Mother Nature.” >although this can also be decieving<
It is also comforting to think that after you failed an exam or worse a subject, there is always a place waiting for you where you can just think of nothing and be relaxed, in the middle of Freedom Park you’ll find solitude. Looking to the heavens you’d find peace of mind, hearing the cicadas >if those were cicadas< play you a song, it is just nature at its best just outside your classroom.
